Shopping the pop-up in the old Atlas space
Wound my way around the edges of Capitol Hill block party this weekend to the pop up shop put on by many of my favorite Seattle designers & artists. The space on 10th formerly known as Atlas clothing was completely empty and remarkably beautiful. The simple vignettes of wares made the space look almost gallery-like. Meghann Sommer & Julianna Vezzetti are hoping to keep the pop-up open for a while longer which would be great for the neighborhood and artists. To my eye, most surprising are the ways in which the different designers’ objects, jewelry & clothing play together when given the space.
And then, unfortunately, I had to leave very quickly because the crazies inside the fenced beer garden of the block party were trying to lure my dog toward them with doritos and other unsavory invitations.
