find of the day/Erin Considine
Erin Considine is a New York based artist coming from a long line of craftspeople. Her passion for metals and fibers merge into endless possibilities of form, function and wearable art. She studied metals, sculpture and sustainability at Evergreen College in Olympia and launched her first line in 2009. Erin dyes her textiles in natural dye baths using turmeric, hibiscus, logwood and onion skin. She is ultimately conscious of everything she uses. Everything is made by hand in New York.
