Knitwear is basically essential at this time of year – at least up here in the Pacific Northwest. Vancouver-based sustainable designer Hendrik.Lou has us covered, literally, with luxuriously alpaca wool scarves, hats and tops. Here are a few pieces we’re loving for Fall.Bulky and perfect for snuggling, this ribbed loop cowl is hand knit from Peruvian alpaca yarn. Its charcoal tone is ideal for lifting an all-black outfit.

Hand loomed in a delicate oat hue, this long baby alpaca scarf is ridiculously soft and fair-trade sourced.

This unisex chunky crocheted toque is made by hand in Vancouver, British Columbia. Crafted from alpaca yarn sourced from a small family farm in Peru, it is a unique design that’s guaranteed to keep you warm.

A thickly textured loop scarf that elegantly drapes, this alpaca wool blend is irresistibly soft.

Beautifully soft, this knit beanie is made from an alpaca and silk blend. Roll it up or wear straight, its slouchy fit is comfortable and chic.

A colorful crop, in an organic linen/flax blend, this top is perfect for layering. A one of a kind piece, the top softens with wear. With seafoam green, tan, oat and rust, each layer of color brings its own element to the look.
